Job Information

The selected candidate will be receiving, investigating and analyzing customer claims to determine liability and make a settlement.  They will also be processing forms and correspondence associated with settling claims.
The ideal candidate will be required to possess the following:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Typing 30-35 WPM
  • Attention to detail
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality

Job duties will include the following:

  • Process customer claims as received
  • Handle receipt/verification of customer claims
  • Input/process/verify receipt of claim documents
  • Research and compile supporting claim documentation
  • Prepare/send supporting correspondence of claim settlement
  • Prepare tracing and set-up inspections as needed
  • Follow-up/research/resolve inquiries/discrepancies of correspondence
  • Prepare and invoice as required
  • Additional duties may be assigned

Required Experience:

  • Minimum High school Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of general office experience
  • 6 months to 1 year of exceptional customer service experience
  • Prior claims processing experience preferred
