Job Information

The selected candidate will be providing administrative support to a team of 15-20 long haul drivers.  They will be responsible for rating and processing driver paperwork, researching and resolving driver inquiries, and investigating driver payment discrepancies. They will act as a liaison between the drivers, the van line and the long haul dispatcher.

The ideal candidate will be required to possess the following:

·         Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

·         Typing 30-35 WPM

·         Attention to detail

·         Strong basic math skills

·         Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

·         Ability to multi-task and balance priorities

·         Ability to work independently and take initiative

·         Ability to handle contentious situations

·         Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure


Job duties will include the following:

·         Review driver paperwork for completeness and rate all driver paperwork

·         Frequent phone communication with drivers, other agents, dispatcher and van line

·         Research and resolve van line charges and payment discrepancies

·         Be a driver advocate while also considering what is best for the company

·         Support the long haul dispatcher as needed

·         Additional duties may be assigned


Required Experience:

·         Minimum High school Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree preferred

·         3 years of general office experience to include data entry

·         Prior accounting clerk experience a plus

·         Prior moving industry experience a plus
